Government Regulations AS/NZS 3760:2010

National Work Place Healthy and Safety regulations state that all equipment used in an environment in which the normal use of electrical equipment exposes the equipment to operating conditons that are likely to result  in damage to the equipment or a reduction in its expected life span must be tested and tagged. For more information please click here.

The environment includes conditions that involve exposure to moisture, heat, vibration, mechanical, damage, corrosive chemicals or dust and is more commonly known as a hostile environment. With accordance with AS/NZS 3760:2010 all items in a hostile environment must be inspected visually, tested and tagged.

Did you know that most defects of electrical equipment are found through a visual inspection prior to testing?

Greystanes Test and Tag will send you an Electrical Equipment Registry for your WH&S compliance after we test your equipment and we will give you a friendly reminder before your next testing is due. So that you can plan ahead so there is minimal disturbance to you and your employees.
